What is happening to America Today? Our forefathers gave us a Constitution and a Bill of Rights to protect our
God given freedoms from tyranny. Not tyranny from abroad but from a government that oversteps and abuses its
authority. Look what is happening to America today? Our freedoms are being taken away at a rate never before
experienced in this nation. Not only by liberal politicians, but by conservatives who pay little or no attention to
the Constitution or to the freedoms it gives us.
On the surface, it may seem that Christianity has never been stronger or more influential. However, political
authorities have targeted Christians and are carrying out their own agendas. Some Christians tend to endorse
legislative and political actions that make things worse for them. Legal protection for Christianity has eroded
and many Christians are clueless in on how to correct their situation.
America is perhaps the most unique nation in the history of the world. Why? Because it was created by men who
loved God and it was founded on principles of freedom unknown to other nations. Is it too late for America to
change? Many say yes. I boldly disagree. I believe God wants our nation restored, not judged. He is waiting for
people like you and me to be the salt and light.
Is the problem with America our government, our political institutions, our two party systems, or our courts?
Perhaps the problem is the fact that “We the People” have allowed the enemies of freedom to pervert and abuse
the institutions of this great nation. Make no mistake … evil is not passive. It is aggressive and that will not
change. The question I have for you is … are you passive or aggressive?
He is an outspoken critic of the Federal Reserves
inflationary measures. He consistently voted to
lower or abolish federal taxes, spending, and
regulation, and promoted the return of government
to its proper constitutional levels. He is an
unwavering advocate of pro-life and pro-family
values and he personifies the Founding Fathers ideal
of the citizen-statesman. He makes it clear that his
principles will never be compromised. There are few
people in public life who stick to their principles.
Ron Paul is one of those few.
Listen to Ron Paul’s “What If” speech he presented
to the House floor on February 12, 2009.
Texas congressman Ron Paul has a reputation as an advocate for liberty in politics. He is the leading spokesman
in Washington for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary
policies based on commodity-backed currency. He is known for his consistent voting record and he never votes
for legislation unless the proposed measure is authorized by the Constitution.
